Senate Bill 1 (Third Reader) 2001 Maryland Legislative Session. Adds a new article to the Annotated Code of Maryland, to be known as the Criminal Procedure Article', revising, restating, and recodifying the laws relating to law enforcement procedures, arrests, the rights of victims, and pretrial, trial, and sentencing procedures. The bill passed March 29, 2001.
